A Horticultural Society Trip to Water Lane Walled Garden in Hawkhurst and to Charlotte Molesworth’s Topiary Garden near Benenden.

Water Lane Walled Garden near Hawkhurst, with a guided tour and a talk about how this beautiful, walled garden and greenhouses are being restored to a full productive garden for both food and flowers.

Cafe open for coffee and lunch.

A visit to the private garden of Charlotte Molesworth, the artist and nationally renowned topiarist. The garden includes borders, a productive garden, nuttery, wild flower meadow, pond and, of course, topiary. There are many interesting and unusual plants, not least the many different varieties of box wood that Charlotte has cultivated.
