The society is here to help its members develop their interest in gardening by holding talks on horticultural topics and arranging visits to gardens of interest.  We hold shows where members and non-members can exhibit their flowers, fruit, vegetables and cookery skills.

Whenever possible we arrange social gatherings so that members can meet like-minded people.   Members also benefit from our purchasing arrangements with seed and bulb suppliers at advantageous prices.
